The Kokomo/Howard County Chamber of Commerce Women's Business Council is offering a $500 Scholarship to promote professional growth and educational attainment for women. The Scholarship is intended to provide supplemental financial resources for a female pursuing a post-secondary degree.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Deadline: Materials must be postmarked by June 15, 2010
Objective:
- To promote professional growth and educational attainment for women, this scholarship will provide supplemental financial resources for a female pursuing a post-secondary degree. Currently, the amount of this award is $500.
Scholarship Criteria and Directions:
- Must plan to attend or be admitted to attend a college or university in Indiana and be a resident of Howard County.
- Must be a female pursuing an academic degree and enrolled in a minimum of 6.0 semester credits.
- Must demonstrate advancement goals toward a professional career.
- Must have a 3.0 grade point average (4.0 scale) or better.
- Must attach a copy of all high school or college transcripts (transcripts may be unofficial).
- Must attach a resume.
- Must attach completed and signed application with paragraph answers.
