The Greater Kokomo Howard County Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nominations for the Elizabeth Foster Award. Please review the following criteria and forward your nominations to the Chamber of Commerce by April 12, 2010. We are not asking you to complete a long form just a short essay!
The Elizabeth Foster Award is intended to recognize outstanding businesses and professionals in the community who by providing assistance, encouragement and mentoring to women have created an environment where women in our community can reach their full potential.
CANDIDATES WILL BE RATED UPON THE FOLLOWING:
*The individual assists women in realizing their full potential. This can be in the form of mentoring, providing employment or education opportunities. Their investment in the welfare, professional and personal lives, of women will also be considered.
*Demonstrates excellence, creativity, and initiative in their profession.
*Provides valuable service by contributing time and talent to improve the quality of life for others.
