• Hosts grand openings, ribbon cuttings, and assists at various Chamber functions

• Markets Howard County as a place to work, live and do business!
• Organizes and hosts "POSITIVELY KOKOMO!" Activities
• "HK" Lunches
• Chili Cookoff
• Holiday Expo (during November "HK" Breakfast)
• Organizes the "Have A Howard County Holiday" Project

Business Assistance Committee (BAC)

• Conducts personal visits with firms identifying problem areas and concerns, and then communicates those needs through the proper channels for assistance.
• Honors small businesses through awards programs
• Hosts networking function- the Leads Exchange
• Visits new members to acquaint them with Chamber services and events
• Develops workshops and seminars
• Organizes Business After Hours Extravaganza

Leadership Kokomo Steering Committee

• Facilitates and Manages community leadership development program

Local Government & Legislative Affairs

• Surveys members, then uses the results to develop positions regarding current legislative issues
• Hosts Third House Sessions
• Encourages area legislators to support Chamber positions
• Hosts program with federal and state legislators (Appreciation Dinner)

Membership Committee

• Recruits new members by organizing membership drives
• Surveys members to identify areas where we may be of assistance

Women's Business Council (WBC)

• Provides educational opportunities
• Select a scholarship recipient each year
• Plans lunch box seminars relevant to women in business
